Responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment and facility
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES \n - Troubleshoots, repairs or replaces equipment.
\n - Handles system and/or equipment element installations.
\n - Performs regular preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
\n - Carries out a variety of work in the maintenance of the building
\n - Supports recycling or trash pickup as needed.
\n - Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS \n - High School or equivalent.
\n - Two years' experience in general maintenance
\n - Or technical training in lieu of experience
\n - Basic electrical knowledge
\n
\n
DECISIONMAKING RESPONSIBIITIES Applies knowledge and skills to determine and/or apply established procedures for repairs.
OTHER: Shift Mon - Thursday 2pm - 12:30am

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS & ABILITIES \n - Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
\n - Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the performance of basic maintenance tasks.
\n - Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
\n - Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.
\n - Skill in using hand and power tools.
\n - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
\n - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
\n - Must be multi-task oriented and able to work on several ongoing projects simultaneously.

WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. When in the shop environment, conditions vary based on the area and project.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS \n - Understanding of deadlines within a fast paced environment.
\n - Constantly involves walking, standing, bending at the neck and waist, simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, reaching above and below the shoulder, lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs.
\n - Frequently involves squatting, climbing, twisting at the waist, pushing and pulling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
\n - Occasionally involves sitting, kneeling, crawling, twisting at the neck, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
\n - Involves driving cars, trucks and/or forklift, working around equipment and machinery, walking on uneven ground, exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures/humidity, dust, gas, fumes or chemicals, working at heights, and requires the utilization of protective equipment as needed.
