About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior System Integration Engineer to lead the hardware and software integration of subsystems including microcontrollers (MCUs), sensors, and communication modules. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and optimize cutting-edge autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integration of hardware and software components for autonomous robotic systems.
• Develop, configure, and optimize firmware and drivers for MCUs and sensors (IMU, LiDAR, GPS, cameras, etc.).
• Design and execute system-level tests to validate integration and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sensor fusion, communication, and control systems.
• Ensure accurate data acquisition, processing, and communication across devices.
• Document integration processes, test plans, and results.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware/software integration for robotics or embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python .
• Hands-on experience with MCUs, peripherals, and sensor integration (IMUs, cameras, LiDAR, GPS).
• Familiarity with communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, wireless .
• Proficiency with development tools (Git, JIRA) and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in autonomous vehicles or industrial robotics.
• Experience with ROS and sensor fusion techniques.
• Knowledge of calibration and synchronization of multi-sensor systems.
