Salary Description Grinnell College Libraries seek an early-career librarian or recent MLS graduate to join a collegial team of library faculty as a two-year Research and Instruction Resident Librarian. This new residency, developed within the ACRL Diversity Alliance framework, is focused on library instruction, with additional opportunities to explore roles in digital scholarship, open educational resources, archives and special collections, outreach, and data services, depending on the Resident’s goals and skills. The Resident will engage students, faculty, and staff colleagues in a variety of collaborative roles, including providing one-on-one consultations, teaching research literacy classes, supporting undergraduate research, and providing outreach to academic departments and concentrations. Experience with or a strong interest in one or more of the following: instruction, scholarly communication, digital humanities tools/methods, data services, special collections and archives, outreach, and/or digitization/digital preservation.
