Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation: 75,000 per year, with temp-to-hire conversion after 90 days
About the Role
A long-standing food manufacturing company in Chicago is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations across both production and shipping functions. This position requires strong leadership capability, the ability to manage large teams, and a focus on meeting quality, safety, and output expectations. This role offers long-term stability, professional development, and the opportunity to guide a high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and support day-to-day activities across production and shipping departments
• Lead, coach, and engage a team of approximately 120 employees
• Assign tasks, establish priorities, and monitor overall performance
• Ensure that output targets, quality expectations, and timelines are consistently met
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment
• Communicate regularly with leadership and cross-functional personnel to ensure alignment and smooth operations
Qualifications
• Three or more years of supervisory experience within production or shipping
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Demonstrated success managing and motivating large teams
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
