Job Title: Outside Sales Representative – Construction Materials

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive business growth within the construction materials industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a solid understanding of the construction sector. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets by promoting and selling a wide range of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with contractors, builders, developers, and other key decision-makers.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts by providing excellent service and support.
  • Present and promote products to clients, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct site visits, attend industry events, and build relationships within the construction community.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (inside sales, operations, logistics) to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience (preferably in construction materials, building products, or related industry).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry terminology.
  • Existing relationships with contractors, builders, or developers.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
