Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in ambulatory OB/GYN clinics provide basic nursing care under provider supervision, supporting patient health through assessments, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. They manage patient documentation, maintain medical supplies, and promote health education while ensuring a safe and caring environment. LPNs also collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and may serve as preceptors or participate in departmental activities.

Job Summary
Under the supervision of a provider and in collaboration with other team members, provides basic nursing care in a non-acute ambulatory patient setting in accordance with the State Board of Nursing, Nurse Practice Act, professional standards of care, state regulations, accreditation standards and Prisma Health's philosophy, policies and procedures.Bonus

Minimum Requirements
Education - Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
Experience - No experience required.
In Lieu Of
In lieu of completion of a LPN program, will accept program equivalency recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Holds a current LPN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an LPN in the state the team member is working.
If an LPN team member working in this position obtains RN licensure, Prisma Health will accept RN licensure for a limited time until the team member can be placed in an RN position. Team members should immediately notify their manager and Talent Acquisition if they are scheduled to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam or have obtained RN licensure.
