Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hazmat Tanker Driver to transport hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a strong safety record, and experience handling hazardous cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate tanker trucks to transport hazardous materials to designated locations.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including DOT and EPA guidelines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including delivery records and manifests.
• Follow proper loading and unloading procedures for hazardous materials.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow spill containment protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements.
• Minimum of [3] years of experience driving tanker trucks with hazardous materials.
• Clean driving record and strong understanding of DOT regulations.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and physical exams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
