Fain, Major, Brennan, Sanford & Hardee, P.C. is a busy insurance defense law firm representing insurers, businesses, and professionals in civil litigation throughout Georgia. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys and staff. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the legal field and learn the inner workings of a law office.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
• Greet clients and visitors; assist with scheduling and correspondence
• Prepare and format legal documents, letters, and filings under supervision
• Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and court filings
• Assist with data entry, document scanning, and file management
• Support attorneys, paralegals, and office manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Prior office or customer service experience preferred; legal experience a plus but not required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and willingness to learn
