What Will I be Doing?

Seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Network Engineer to join a team responsible for Hilton Grand Vacation's Global Network and all associated devices, including but not limited to, routers, switches, circuits, wireless and others associated with enterprise systems. Work with peers to design and engineer Hilton Grand Vacations network. Able to support the life cycle of converged network technologies. Able to identify and resolve important issues or problems in area of responsibility. Able to analyze data and effectively use problem-solving skills. Knowledge of how various aspects of network systems work together to provide service to a large user base. Able to create and effectively communicate network standards and procedures to a variety of audiences.

 

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Experience in analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls. 
  • Manage the hardware and software life cycle for footprint of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, and related systems).
  • Research and recommend next-gen network technology, products & services
  • Develop standard, procedures and other reference documentation to guide the various technology stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
  • Provide day-to-day support, proactive maintenance, and perform system troubleshooting.
  • Identify capacity and performance issues to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Understand business strategy and design technical solutions to facilitate/aid execution of business strategy.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of all network communications up to the application layer.
  • Consult peer groups in the development of project plans, hardware/software road maps, and refresh plans

 

What Are We Looking For: 

To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Proficient with common routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, static routes, route maps, NAT/PAT, PIM SM)
  •   Experience with Network Quality of Service (QOS) including IP precedense, DSCP and COS, Policing, Shaping, troubleshooting
  •   Knowledge of Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and transport technologies (ethernet, FlexVPN, DMVPN, SD-WAN, and MPLS)
  • Expert level knowledge of the OSI model and common network protocols.
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • CCNA or CCNP
  • Associates Degree/College Diploma
