Warehouse Unloader – Job Description
The Warehouse Unloader is responsible for efficiently unloading incoming shipments from trucks, containers, or trailers and preparing them for storage or distribution. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The pay is based on the number of containers completed. The better and faster you work the less time you’ll need to work, and the more money you’ll be able to earn.
Key Responsibilities
Unload shipments of merchandise, materials, or freight from incoming vehicles
Verify contents against shipping documents and report discrepancies
Sort and organize products by type, size, or destination
Handle materials safely and follow proper lifting techniques
Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts if certified
Maintain a clean and organized unloading area
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures
Previous experience in warehouse or unloading preferred but not required
Team-oriented and able to follow instructions
Must be able to continuously unload boxes onto pallets according to warehouse specifications
