Discharging a product into the wrong cement silo is very costly./liliWrite entries in logbook: Noting freight hauled, destination, hours/miles driven and rest periods./liliIf necessary, obtain chains from storage on the trailer and drape them on the drive wheels of the truck and fasten into place. Remove chains when roads are clear./liliMaintain a safe work area and vehicle./liliFollow prescribed safety rules and regulations./liliRoutinely assist other members of the work force in different areas of production./liliTake action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions./liliOther tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs./liliRegular and timely attendance./liliParticipate in and promote an inclusive work environment./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily./ppMinimum Qualifications/pulliValid (CDL) Class A with interstate medical card./liliDoubles/triples and tanker endorsement./liliAbility to operate manual transmission./liliAbility to apply critical thinking to carry out detailed written or oral instructions./liliAbility to communicate using two-way radio./liliSafety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality./liliMust pass pre-employment physical examination and controlled substance testing./li/ululliDemonstrates the willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed./liliDemonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations./li/ulpPhysical Requirements/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
