Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Virginia requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least two years of recent L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient care focused on women in labor and delivery
• Must not live within 60 miles of the assignment location
• Primary responsibilities include providing care to laboring patients and assisting with deliveries
• Must complete a skills checklist prior to assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Non-local candidates only (must reside more than 60 miles from the facility)

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
• COVID vaccination documentation required
• Cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• RQI certifications not accepted
