Travel Registered Nurse – CVPICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years in CVPICU (post-op heart experience required)
- Certifications Required: BLS, PALS (NRP preferred)
- Charting System: Epic
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating Requirement: Yes (to NICU and Pediatric Units)
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted with PICU experience
- Common Procedures: Central line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubations/extubations, CRRT initiation/discontinuation, ECMO cannulations/decannulations, chest exploration
- Special Equipment: Hamilton G5 Ventilators, DirectLink ICP Monitors, Artic Sun Targeted Temperature Management, Baxter Prismaflex Machines
