GENERAL FUNCTION The Licensed Target Store Manager leads a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, meeting all brand goals and commitments. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure Team Members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching store rules. Help Team Members understand the importance of the Playground Rules and being Guest Ready. Manage floor flow and serve as a caretaker for guests and team members. Develop action plans for team development and ensure accountability. Provide timely feedback and conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions. Understand key success drivers and identify areas for improvement. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and store partners to enhance service and business growth. Recruit top talent and maintain a pool of potential applicants. Create effective schedules based on business trends and traffic. Manage payroll, hiring, and personnel changes. Maintain store standards, including inventory and merchandising, and ensure policy compliance. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Opticianry License or ABO Certification as required by state law 3+ years in customer service or retail Critical thinking, recruiting, selling skills, and motivational abilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years management or supervisory experience Benefits include health care, retirement, paid time off, and employee discounts.
