Summary

Perdue AgriBusiness has an opening for a  Tanker Washer position at the  Edible Oil Refinery in  Salisbury, MD . This position will be responsible for cleaning the oil tanker trailers to meet the edible oil refinery schedule.

This position has a target wage of $18.00[low end] - $27.00[high end] per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

This will be a rotational shift

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate jockey truck or tractor truck to move and spot oil tankers
• Operate truck washing equipment
• Wash / Sanitize oil tankers
• Inspect trailers to ensure they meet established sanitation requirements
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Preferred Education

• High School Diploma/GED

Experience Requirements

• Valid state driver's license (CDL preferred but not necessary)
• Will train the willing and able to learn candidate to maneuver trucks to meet refinery schedule needs
• Good communication, math and analytical skills
• Some computer experience is preferred

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Able to move freely throughout the wash bay facility
• Climb vertical heights (0 - 25')
• Carrying equipment (0 -45 pounds)
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees F)
• Humidity (0 - 100%)
• Noise (50db to 100db)
• Chemicals (SDS sheets available)
• Must be able to wear protective equipment
