A System Administrator's role has a profound and often unseen impact on the client mission by ensuring the underlying technology infrastructure operates smoothly, securely, and efficiently. In essence, while not always directly client-facing, the system administrator acts as the unsung hero, building and maintaining the technological foundation upon which the client's mission is executed. Their expertise ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of the IT environment, directly impacting the client's ability to operate effectively and achieve their objectives.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Optimizing System Performance and Reliability: By leveraging their deep understanding of system architecture and best practices, they can identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and implement proactive measures to enhance system speed, stability, and uptime, leading to increased productivity and reduced disruptions.
Strengthening Security Posture: An advisor can assess existing security protocols, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend and implement robust security measures, including access controls, patching strategies, and threat detection systems, significantly reducing the risk of data breaches and cyberattacks.
Improving Efficiency and Automation: They can analyze current administrative tasks and workflows, identify opportunities for automation through scripting and tools, and implement solutions that streamline processes, freeing up valuable time for the IT team to focus on strategic initiatives.
Providing Strategic Guidance and Planning: An experienced advisor can offer insights into emerging technologies, help develop long-term IT strategies aligned with business goals, and provide guidance on infrastructure upgrades and scalability planning, ensuring the IT infrastructure remains agile and future-proof.
Enhancing Knowledge Transfer and Skill Development: Through mentorship, training, and documentation, an advisor can upskill the existing systems administration team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improving the overall technical capabilities within the organization.

- Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- Required Technical Skills: Security + and Microsoft Azure 104
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
- Required Skills and Abilities: Operating Systems Expertise, Networking Fundamentals, Server Hardware and Virtualization, Scripting and Automation, Directory Services
- Preferred Skills: Cloud Technologies, Security Principles and Practices, Monitoring and Logging, Communication Skills, Organizational and Time Management Skills, Teamwork and Collaboration,
- Location: On Customer Site

Top Secret/SCI Salary and Benefit Information The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
