As an Information Technology Support Specialist, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Your role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting services for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware, responding either in person or over the phone. HOW AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software. Coach and guide less-experienced professionals. Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions. Provide remote support through desktop mirroring and other remote access tools for worldwide sites. Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow up on problems reported to the helpdesk, especially involving cloud infrastructure. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Required Experience: 5+ years in related roles. Required Technical Skills: Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software, both in person and remotely. Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly. Required Skills and Abilities: Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology. Location: On-Site in Annapolis Junction, MD. Additional requirements include US citizenship and, for some roles, certification such as CompTIA Security+.
