Position Overview

As a Senior Product Manager for Search/AI Experiences, you will help shape the long-term vision and strategy for discovery/search, play a key role in understanding customer needs and market trends to define improvements and new opportunities, and you will relentlessly execute to bring value to our customers. You will be very familiar with time-tested methodologies for yielding highly relevant browsing experiences and search results, and will be quite comfortable with the ambiguity and opportunity that new technologies such as AI bring to a solution set.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the search product roadmap, delivering customer value with rapid iterations


• Define, monitor, and act on success metrics


• Work closely with application product managers whose users will interact with search across applications


• Collaborate with Engineering to refine indexing and ranking


• Find good tradeoff between product and technology to deliver customer value while building a scalable platform


• Apply AI technology where beneficial from a user experience and cost perspective

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience with at least 4 years focused on search/discovery


• Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating AI solutions for semantic search, summarization, and NLP chat interfaces


• Experience with Elasticsearch


• Heavy bias toward focus and execution


• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical stakeholders as well as management and sales


• Excellent analytical skills and curiosity about user behavior and how to measure search efficiency and effectiveness


• Comfortable influencing without authority and leading cross-functional teams


• Deep customer empathy and experience with deriving and applying insights from user research


• A track record of getting things done while leading a cross-functional team that wants to follow you

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $190,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
