Job Description

Amazon is scaling a fast-growing business aimed at transforming the reverse logistics industry for electronic hardware. We're making our electronics processing, reuse, and recycling company available to customers - and we're looking for experienced Business Development professionals to scale our business, ensuring our customers succeed while building the use cases of the future.

re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is an electronics processing, reuse, and recycling company that works to extend the life of used electronic equipment with a specialization in the handling of valuable electronic hardware used in data centers. We are a stand-alone company within the Amazon corporate family that provides services to other Amazon companies and are looking for a talented, driven, and industry focused Sr. Business Development Lead focused on creating and executing the Business Development strategy, influencing how we grow, scale, and serve customers. You'll work together with Product Management and Tech to challenge industry norms, design customer-obsessed solutions, and redefine how IT Asset Disposition services are sold and delivered. We're looking for someone excited about building a business from the beginning of its life cycle, with experience going to market with all types of customers. Key job responsibilities

• Identifying and activating new business opportunities.

• Developing business models and go-to-market strategies

• Cross-selling models and customer value proposition development

• Developing strategic partnerships and commercial relationships.

• Leading both sales and marketing efforts

• Drive revenue, adoption and market share for our product

• Create program goals and metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

- Experience in launching new products

- Experience managing complex customer relationships and initiatives with considerable impact where the customer need, sales strategy, and opportunity are not defined

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
