Position Summary: Design and implement marketing strategies designed to amplify the achievements of the Company’s sponsored teams, athletes, and sports series company sponsors. Cultivate relationships with the media, engage our target audience and generate positive brand awareness. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and lead execution on comprehensive, multichannel Public Relations (PR) campaigns to amplify company’s sponsored sports, athletes, teams on a local and national level. Develop and maintain positive relationships with local and national media outlets. Develop and manage a variety of communications campaigns and materials linked to the organization's sports programs, initiatives and events. In concert, develop budget recommendations and be responsible for their management. Create and execute strategic communications programs, which include media relations. Create communications vehicles such as videos, press releases, news stories and other content with internal colleagues and with our content providers. Apply media relations strategy and provide counsel to senior company leaders on reactive and proactive media relations. Collaborate closely with the Sports Marketing team to ensure meaningful, consistent messaging, strategic communications roadmap, tactics and timing. Execute branding and marketing initiatives to increase media exposure and fan engagement Provide written material for media and industry influencers. Develop and produce PR events. Measure, analyze and report out on PR campaign performance and trends to guide data-driven decision making. Job Specifications: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Communications, Journalism, or other related fields.
