Job Description: We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with product owners, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and reliable configuration management. Key Responsibilities: CMDB Data Management : Develop and implement processes to ingest server tags and populate the CMDB with key-value data for Windows systems, ensuring accurate and reliable configuration management. Attribute Mapping : Map server tag data (BIGFIX and Windows) to associate manually managed CI attributes with out-of-the-box (OOTB) CMDB attributes. Issue Resolution : Analyze and resolve issues, such as UI failures, to maintain consistent functionality across environments. Integration and Updates : Manage integrations (e.g., CloudKey) and upgrade connectors (e.g., Microsoft SCCM) to ensure up-to-date and complete CMDB data. Service Mapping and Replacement : Create service maps and replace legacy applications with in-house solutions to enhance CMDB functionality. Continuous Improvement : Familiarize with ongoing work, commit and validate update sets, and leverage the CSDM/DPM module for improved product line and service management. Qualifications: Experience : Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in ServiceNow CMDB development and administration. Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve issues. Integration Skills : Experience with integrating external data sources and managing integrations. Communication : Strong communication skills to work effectively with product owners, administrators, and other stakeholders. Certifications : ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB (CIS - CMDB). Preferred Skills: Scripting : Proficiency in JavaScript and PowerShell. Data Analysis : Ability to analyze data and map it to ServiceNow schemas. Project Management : Experience in managing projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
