ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop new or modified processes for the Backend single probe bonding process. Design and execute DOE. Use metrology tools to quantify experimental results. Analyze data statistically, write reports, and present results. Define, specify, evaluate and implement new processing equipment and new materials Characterize processes to understand sources of variation and improve yield and cycle time. Coordinate and execute problem solving efforts, hands on troubleshooting of module-level and integrated process, and equipment issues.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

BS degree + 2 years industry working experience or MS / Ph.D degree in Engineering or Science. Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing protective clothing such as a bunny suit and goggles for extended periods of time. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures. Fast learner of new equipment and processes required to execute duties. 2+ year research experience in backend processes is preferred. Broad knowledge of electronic packing, MEMS and metrology Mastery of engineering statistical analysis including DoE and SPC using JMP or equivalent software Ability to influence others through leadership and technical expertise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail The pay range for this role in Baldwin Park, CA is between $81,400 and $ 106,890 . The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
