Senior Bookkeeper

This is a remote position.

BooksTime is a fast-growing, US-based accounting company with offices in Ukraine, the Philippines, the UAE, and Georgia. We are continually expanding our global presence and proudly providing services to over 500 clients (the majority based in the United States), and collaborating closely with a number of U.S.-based CPAs. We specialize in delivering tailored accounting outsourcing services for small and medium-sized businesses. Our team excels in working with international accounting systems, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for professionals eager to grow their expertise in global accounting practices.

We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper who is motivated to develop into a managerial role and eventually lead our team of bookkeepers in the Philippines. You'll receive training, mentorship, and full support from us to help you grow into this role.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy or similar course
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Minimum 3 years of end-to-end accounting experience
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Excellent English communication skills
• Experience working with clients directly, familiarity with US GAAP, and SMEs
• Demonstrated project management skills

Preferred Qualifications (a plus):

• Minimum 2 years of team management experience
• Experience in a multicultural work environment
• CPA or equivalent certification
• Proficiency or certification in QuickBooks / Xero
• Experience with 3rd-party applications such as Gusto, Bill.com, Stripe, etc.
