As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Patrol in Coral Gables, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with residents and guests, providing outstanding customer service and communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal-delivering through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach to every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and other designated locations to help to deter trespassing and/or unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while performing assigned duties to help to deter potential security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
