Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol in Centennial, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in controlling access to the facility, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as necessary during emergency and/or security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
