Our corporate Finance department is seeking a Sales Tax Auditor to be responsible for the auditing of sales tax exemption forms for multiple states. This person will report to the Tax Manager and will work closely with our retail stores as well as other departments within the organization to protect the company in the event of a sales tax audit.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Audit untaxed transactions.
• File and archive untaxed transaction reports.
• Audit, file, and archive exemption certificates.
• Assist in filing monthly and quarterly sales tax returns.
• Generate various reports, including detailed ad hoc reporting as needed by various business units.
• Administrative duties associated with the position (filing, mailing, etc.).
• Assist in state tax audits.
• Assist in managing the online travel platform. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma required with at least 3-5 years of clerical or finance experience.
• Experience with Apptricity or another web-based expense system and business intelligence reporting is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficient in Excel 
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
