Construction Safety Manager
About the Role
A well-established general contractor in the Southeast is seeking a Safety Manager to lead jobsite safety efforts on active commercial construction projects. This role plays a key part in fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and helping every worker go home safe each day.
Responsibilities:
- Lead safety efforts on assigned projects
- Conduct site-specific orientation and training
- Perform and document regular site safety inspections
- Guide both internal teams and subcontractors in safe work practices
- Support incident investigations and continuous safety improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
- Current OSHA 500 certification
- Hands-on experience with safety training, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance
