\nLerner Tower 4 is a 30 bed adult inpatient care unit that primarily provides care for neurology and neurosurgical patients. Within the unit there is also a neuro intermediate care unit, in which stepdown acuity level neuro patients can be cared for. Additionally, Tower 4 has a unique collaboration with NSU, the neuro ICU. Management as well as staff from both areas meet frequently to discuss issues, work on process improvement and patient satisfaction

Position Requirements:
\nThorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
\n1 year of RN experience required
\n\n
Education Requirements:
\nBachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
\nMinimum of Diploma/Associate’s Degree in nursing from accredited program.
\n\n
License Requirements:
\nRegistered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
\nCurrent BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
