• Schedule : 7pm-7am, Night Shift, Full-Time
• Department : Inpatient Behavioral Health
• Location : Forsyth Medical Center

Forsyth Medical Centers inpatient behavioral health unit involves working with patients 18 and older who have primary psychiatric diagnoses. This may include de-escalating situations with patients that are voluntary or involuntarily committed.

This unit focuses on reducing stigma related to the patient population and educating staff on treating mental health patients with the same approach as medical patients.

• • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
  • One-year relevant experience, preferred.
