VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care, has an opening for a Reentry Specialist at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington, Delaware for Full-Time! Certification in substance use counseling (CADC, CSAC, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

REENTRY SPECIALIST POSITION SUMMARY:

The Reentry Specialist will play a vital role in assisting individuals with their transition from correctional settings to community life. This position focuses on providing case management, reentry planning, and SUD-related support. The ideal candidate will have experience in SUD counseling and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by justice-involved populations

REENTRY SPECIALIST MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• One year of experience in social services field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Case Management experience
• Applicants with experience in a correctional health care setting will be given preference.
• Certification or credential in substance use counseling (e.g., CADC, CSAC, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of SUD treatment and recovery principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
