Job Description

As a Quality Laboratory Technician- Particulate Matter at Baxter, you will perform finished product testing of solution in accordance with USP <1790> by vacuum filtration and subsequent visual inspection of filter to detect visual particles within defined timeframes. Responsibilities include collecting supplemental PM samples throughout the facility following Standard Operating Procedures, conducting testing of products in compliance with USP <1790> and USP <788> methodology, adhering to aseptic techniques to maintain sample integrity, visually inspecting filters for particulate matter size 150 microns or higher, preparing and calibrating testing equipment and solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to testing procedures or equipment, collaborating with quality team members to ensure timely sample processing, communicating issues promptly, participating in audits and inspections, and other duties as assigned. The role requires strong understanding of quality principles and Good Manufacturing Practice, attention to detail, digital literacy, good social skills, ability to lead multiple tasks, work independently, and perform aseptic testing techniques. Physical requirements include lifting 10-20 pounds routinely and standing for extended periods. PPE will be provided and must be worn as required. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience with aseptic technique requirements in laboratory or manufacturing related areas.
