Project Manager (5+yrs) - Agile & Waterfall Location: Hybrid in Madison, WI or within reasonable driving distance preferred
- Local candidates can expect to work on site a few days per week
- Regional candidates can expect to be in Madison on a quarterly basis
Start Date : 2/9/26
Duration : 3-6 month contract-to-hire
Process : 3 interviews, video and F2F depending on candidate location
Description : Project Manager to support a variety of different initiatives including operational work, business initiatives, and IT projects. The ideal candidate will bring both traditional Waterfall and Agile methodology experience.
Responsibilities: Manage multiple projects concurrently as assigned, serving as the primary owner throughout all project phases, working with established guidelines on delivery approach, and determining mitigation plans to address risks. Will work with the broader project management team to identify dependencies and interactions between projects, and develop and execute communication plans, facilitate project team meetings, provide status reports, and take on other project duties as needed. Traditional BA work may be required of the Project Manager as well.
Qualifications: - 2 - 5+ years of Project Management experience
- OR High School equivalency with 8+ years experience
- Both Waterfall and Agile methodology
- Experience supporting teams/audiences of all seniority levels, from end users through executive leaders
- Microsoft Project
- SharePoint experience
Bonus Skills: - Agile and/or Scrum Master experience
- Healthcare or health insurance industry experience
- Experience with Epic platforms & systems
- Experience leading Process Improvement initiatives
- Power BI experience
- Any experience using AI platforms or supporting AI initiatives
- Change Management experience
