SF Civic Tech is looking for an experienced project lead and product manager who is passionate about education and building tools that support teachers and students.
10% of students in SFUSD have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that details specific academic and behavioral goals. Data collection is both the backbone and Achilles heel of this system. Compass aims to help our teachers and students by making data collection simpler, more flexible and maybe even a little fun. Compass is being developed entirely by volunteers as a free, open-source web application. We currently have a MVP prototype nearing completion.
SF Civic Tech is a welcoming and inclusive volunteer group of developers, designers, data geeks, and citizen activists who use creative technology to solve civic and social problems. We meet on Zoom to work together every week and in-person for special events throughout the year.
