Job Description

Masis Staffing is assisting a client in the distribution of frozen fruits and vegetables for a Bilingual Production Manager in Front Royal, VA area.

The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. The Production Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive productivity, optimize resources, and maintain strict adherence to quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and encourages a safe, positive, productive work environment.
• Lead and supervise a team of production staff, providing coaching, guidance, and training as needed. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Continuously assess production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
• Resolves all production and quality problems that occur.
• Assist in the development of production budgets and manage production costs within approved budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality or safety.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in food science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong organizational and managerial skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address production issues promptly.
• Proficient in using production management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and reporting.
