Primary Responsibility:
Safely feed/pack product glued on the machine to ensure quality and target speed.
What You'll Do:
Feeding: Remove blanks from pallets, check product quality, and place them in the feed hopper.
Quality Control: Monitor product flow for quality and alert the Operator of issues.
Packing: Fill corrugated cases with the proper count and notify Supervisor of issues.
Maintain Quality: Learn defective product characteristics, sort defective parts, and communicate with the team.
Teamwork: Collaborate to improve operations, reduce waste, and maintain lean manufacturing goals.
Cross Training: Rotate to different machines and work areas.
Follow Procedures: Adhere to new procedures and innovations that enhance efficiency and safety.
Clean Work Environment: Maintain cleanliness following the 5S system.
Effective Downtime: Use machine downtime for cleaning or tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills: Read, write, and communicate in English.
Mathematical Skills: Proficient in math, measurements, and units.
Physical Demands: Able to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform tasks for a minimum of 8 hours.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and software proficiency.
Commitment and Availability:
Regular attendance and punctuality are fundamental requirements. You must also be available for overtime work when necessary.
