*Qualifications:*
Please note that the agency of the selected candidate will need to provide proof of liability insurance. Please also note that the work schedule for this position will be intermittent, with the person in this position providing coverage when our PAs and NPs are out of the office.
-Relevant and progressively responsible experience providing primary/urgent/emergency care services to the adult population; experience providing medical services and care for occupational injuries is valued
-Graduate of an accredited Nursing or Physician Assistant program
-AANPCB, ANCC, or NCCPA Board Certification as applicable
-An active license, in good standing, to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Colorado
-Possession of current State and Federal DEA certification and the legal ability to prescribe schedule II-V medications/narcotics
-Registered with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners
-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
-Colorado Workers' Compensation Level 1 accreditation is valued, but not required
*Responsibilities:*
-Provide medical services, including health evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, prescribe medications, and order referrals
-Conduct phone and in-person triage of injured employees to determine and arrange proper disposition of employees to hospital, clinic, home, or return to work
-Perform Commercial Driver's License (CDL) medical certifications and post-offer, pre-placement physical examinations
-Perform testing and evaluation for Hearing Conservation Program in accordance with OSHA and CAOHC, Pulmonary Clearance and Respirator Fit Testing in accordance with OSHA, and support the asbestos monitoring program
-Collaborate on department and occupational health policies, procedures, and programs with safety engineering, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene
