Summary:

Skagit Regional Health is seeking two Pediatricians to join a successful outpatient Pediatric practice in Mount Vernon, Washington. Highlights:

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment alongside six (6) experienced providers, MAs, RNs, and a supportive clinical staff.
  • Benefit from an excellent work-life balance, with a 4-day schedule focused only on outpatient care with rotating Saturday shifts. Our employed Pediatric Hospitalists cover inpatient calls and newborn rounding.
  • Weekly 1:12 call rotation shared among the providers.
  • See a mix of well child and acute care visits in clinic. Opportunity to perform circumcisions, if desired.
  • This is a full time position with a 36-hour patient contact time work expectation.
  • Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and residents from our own SRH Residency Programs.
  • This is a hospital-employed position with support from our in-house primary and specialty care referral base.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available!

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an ACGME accredited residency program.
  • Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified.
  • 2-3 years of experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license by start.
  • Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.

Compensation and Benefits :

  • Guaranteed first year salary: $278,434
