Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all areas of responsibility are cleaned and sanitized to standard
• Clean and sanitize all assigned restrooms
• Ensure all trash in assigned areas is pulled and maintained
• Ensure the grounds in assigned areas is clean and free of debris
• May utilize equipment such as pressure washer and blower
• Promote a healthy, safe, and hazard free workplace
• Maintain department inventory
• Stock Park Services closets with inventory
• Ensure the park and RD&E areas are clean and ready prior to opening each day
• Other duties as assigned including some turf care and maintenance and painting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
• Must be able to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions such as heat, cold and rain
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Willing to work odd hours, to include weekends, day, night & holiday shifts
• Willing to work in a smoke, tobacco, and drug-free work environment
• This is a seasonal position, up to 40 hours per week during summer and peak times
