Nocturnist Physician (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine) - Statesville, NC
Job Type: Full Time
Shifts: 7on/7off (7PM-7AM)
Responsibilities:

• Work a consistent 7 on/7 off schedule, covering night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
  
• Receive assistance from an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) from 7 PM to 3 AM.
  
• Manage an average of 8 admissions per shift and handle cross-cover responsibilities
  
• Be responsible for managing rapid responses and codes
  
• Focus on patient care without the need to perform procedures
  
• Work in an open ICU setting
  
• Contribute to the care of a hospital with an average total census of 120 patients.
  

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  
• 2 years of experience is required.
  
• Valid medical license to practice in NC.
  
• Excellent clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
