Medical Scribe , where you'll work side-by-side with our providers to document patient encounters in real time and ensure accurate, efficient electronic health record (EHR) management.
Your work helps our clinicians focus on what matters most -
the patient. Key Responsibilities - Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters, including:
- Patient medical histories and physical exams
- Procedures, treatments, and test results
- Physician-dictated diagnoses, prescriptions, and care plans
- Manage and update electronic health records (EHRs) in real time.
- Prepare and send referral letters, forms, and correspondence as directed by the physician.
- Review and verify documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA , privacy, and legal documentation standards.
- Support quality improvement efforts by organizing and maintaining data for reporting systems.
- Assist in tracking patient follow-up and compliance activities.
- Participate in training related to medical documentation, billing, and compliance.
- Proofread and edit all clinical notes for accuracy, grammar, and clarity.
- Anticipate physician needs to streamline clinic operations and maintain patient flow.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and practice operations.
Qualifications - Completion of a Medical Scribe Certification Program or minimum 1 year of related experience .
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology , anatomy , and EHR systems .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and professionalism are required.
