Our client is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth front office experience while supporting clinical staff with administrative needs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a healthcare setting, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care. This is an onsite position based in White Plains, NY.

Medical Receptionist's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays or payments as needed
• Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
• Perform patient check-out and provide follow-up instructions as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Medical Receptionist's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with EMR systems (experience with Epic is a plus)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent required
