Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, as well as state and federal DOT inspections and repairs. The role involves clear documentation on work orders, inspecting trailers and semi-tractors, and performing necessary repairs. Safety and cleanliness compliance is essential, as is maintaining company service trucks and other shop work areas. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities
Our client is a family-owned business offering a flexible work environment with the ability to adjust pay and time off as needed. Employees benefit from an efficiency bonus after 90 days, based on billable times for customers. The company values cleanliness and compensates for maintaining a clean tool and work area. Additional benefits include a $200 annual boot and uniform allowance, 100% paid health insurance covering vision, dental, and health, as well as a 401K with a 3% match after one year.
Work Environment
The role is based in a mechanic shop with wash bays. The shop operates 24 hours, providing flexible start and finish times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.00/hr.
