This is a direct hire Maintenance Technician position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:
- 2nd or 3rd shift hours available
- $25.00/hr. based on skills and experience
- Grand Rapids, MI
Position Information:
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including conveyor drive systems and motor starter circuits.
- Service intermediate electrical and machine control circuits, focusing on variable frequency drives and I/O switch functions.
- Ensure proper equipment, wiring, and grounding techniques.
- Apply knowledge of A/C & D/C electronic concepts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
- Read and interpret relay and PLC ladder logic for equipment maintenance.
- Participate in machine installations and provide input on machinery upgrades and improvements.
- Support the implementation of GMP requirements, understanding their impact on product/process quality.
- Work with robotic systems and automation technologies.
Required Experience:
- Thorough working knowledge of primary mechanical, electrical, and machine controls.
- 2-4 years of formal education in industrial/electrical maintenance from an accredited technical center or recognized apprenticeship program.
- At least 2-5 years of applicable work experience in a related field.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Familiarity with current machinery and control technologies.
- Electrical Licensing is a plus.
