Maintenance / Custodian Technician - Resume Required

Part Time Hours: DAYTIME ONLY

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate
• Detail Oriented
• Minimum 2 Years Related Work Experience
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Self-Motivated
• Reliable
• Works well with team when applicable

Essential Functions (included but not limited to):

• Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up papers and trash; removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot; blowing leaves; power washing building; painting; maintaining the lawn and surrounding landscape; replacing light bulbs and fixtures.
• Empty outdoor garbage receptacles; transporting materials for disposal, including recycling material.
• Cleaning operational equipment by following manufacturer’s operating and care guidelines; completing operator repairs and parts replacement.
• Performs general carpentry, plumbing, and electric work for building. Make repairs of desk and cabinets perform new project repairs and parts replacement.
• Set up rooms for events and meetings.
• Maintains parts and equipment inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed parts; anticipating cleaning equipment replacement; placing orders.
• Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• During emergencies and post power outages – review all areas of the building (A/C units, thermostats, alarm system, elevator, solar panels, lighting); assess if anything needs immediate attention or repair; contact company who handles that specific area for immediate assistance.
• Assist with maintenance/cleaning of the interior of the building: offices, classrooms, bathrooms, and sanctuary (including windows, bathroom tile grout, vents, light covers, carpet treatment for spills; painting touch-ups)
