This full-time, on-site Logistics Manager role is located in Baltimore, MD. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the company's logistics function which includes all shipping activities, monitoring delivery schedules, and overseeing various customer service activities.
Qualifications
· Experience in traffic, transportation, logistics, and distribution operations desired but not required
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Proficient in database software, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ERP Systems
Specifically, the position is responsible for scheduling customer pick-ups and managing the shipping log as well as general customer service duties. The position requires a detailed-oriented person with strong computer and organizational skills. The candidate must have the ability to interface with truck drivers and customers. Experience is desired but not required.
