Job Description
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting litigation matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting matter investigations, maintaining case files, and updating electronic databases.
- Drafting and distributing litigation hold notices, tracking compliance, and following up as needed.
- Coordinating custodian interviews to identify relevant information sources and ensure preservation obligations.
- Assisting with all aspects of discovery, including document preservation, collection, review, and production.
- Leveraging technology and tools to organize and maintain case files.
- Collaborating with internal teams and outside counsel on litigation-related tasks.
- Querying engineering systems to locate and gather responsive documents across the enterprise.
- Supporting case management obligations and responding to subpoenas.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery rules, and eDiscovery best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and familiarity with tools such as CRM, AS400, Alteryx, ShowCase, and Relativity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Take initiative to learn, self-starter and team player mentality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, manage work within deadlines.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred:
- Experience working with engineering systems or technical data.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage outside counsel.
- Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration involving legal, business, and technical teams.
