A dynamic regional litigation team is seeking a litigation associate with 2 -5 years of experience to join its Financial Services and Commercial Litigation practice in Houston. This is a full-time, in-office position ideal for an attorney who wants to build a career at the intersection of banking litigation and complex commercial disputes. This role offers a short path to Partner with strong mentorship and firm reputation!
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent large financial institutions in litigation involving loan enforcement, UCC claims, and consumer finance disputes
- Handle custom commercial litigation for corporate clients in sectors such as energy, telecom, and healthcare
- Participate in motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial prep in Texas state and federal courts
- Collaborate directly with partners and clients on case strategy and resolution
Candidates must have:
- 2–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Strong academic background and Texas bar admission required
- Interest in financial services litigation and ability to work full-time in-office
