JOB TITLE: Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Licensed Clinical Social Worker

FLSA: Full-Time; Salaried/Exempt
HIRING RANGE: $60,000 to $70,000, plus bonus incentives
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate mental health counseling to clients. The LMHC / LCSW will assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide clients in overcoming emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. This position plays a key role in promoting mental wellness and helping clients achieve their goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Conduct assessments and diagnose mental health conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate client records and document progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and organizations to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health care and best practices
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the counseling field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: State licensure or certification as a LCSW or LMHC. Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Must be fully licensed by the State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision.
SKILLS/ABILITIES : Specialized training in specific therapeutic techniques. Strong understanding of mental health disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with diverse populations. Proficiency in electronic health records systems. Knowledge of community resources and services, and 2+ years of experience in clinical mental health counseling. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
