Position Description: The Legal Operations Manager will play a crucial role in helping our Legal team build a scalable and resilient operational legal infrastructure to support the company's growth. This includes managing contract lifecycle, corporate governance, outside counsel, and administrative support, utilizing technology and processes for efficiency. The candidate should have a paralegal background and be capable of handling routine legal tasks under supervision. Responsibilities include: Implement and manage contract lifecycle systems, configure templates, workflows, and generate analytics. Oversee corporate governance for subsidiaries, including filings and intercompany agreements. Maintain up-to-date board and governance documents. Track outside counsel spend, manage budgets, and develop guidelines. Build and maintain a legal files repository and support legal training resources. Assist with reviewing routine contracts and legal filings. Competencies: The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting various legal needs, knowledgeable about legal technology, a systems thinker, creative, detail-oriented, passionate about clean energy, an optimist, quick learner, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment. Minimum Qualifications: Understanding of legal department operations. Experience managing contract systems and corporate entities. Knowledge of legal billing and outside counsel management. Experience with public company legal work and SEC filings. Paralegal certification or experience. Bonus Qualifications: Experience with routine contracts, IP support, SEC filings platforms, or energy/project finance.
