PEC1 seeks a dedicated and meticulous Land Surveyor to join our visionary Engineering & Design team. As a company at the forefront of cybersecurity defenses with a focus on safeguarding critical infrastructures, we require a professional who can seamlessly integrate precise land surveying with state-of-the-art security measures, ensuring our physical and cyber defenses are constructed on sound, accurately surveyed ground. This role involves conducting detailed site surveys, compiling data, and working closely with our engineers to align physical projects with high-level security requirements. Conduct comprehensive field surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. Coordinate findings with the engineering team to ensure construction plans are executed accurately. Utilize a variety of instruments including GPS, total stations, and robotic survey instruments to gather data. Liaise with local authorities and other professionals to comply with legal requirements. Diligently manage all project documentation and records, adhering to both industry and cybersecurity guidelines. Expert knowledge of GPS, GIS, and data collection technologies related to surveying. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software. Ability to interpret construction plans and blueprints.
